The unveiling ceremony of the XCMG Asphalt Mixing Plant and the delivery ceremony of complete road equipment were held in Beira, Mozambique. Representatives from the local municipal government and the Ministry of Transport attended the event.
This delivery includes a complete set of road equipment such as an asphalt mixing plant, asphalt pavers, and cold road recycling machines, establishing an integrated closed-loop construction system encompassing "asphalt raw material production—road paving construction—old road recycling and renovation—road compaction and shaping." This provides a one-stop solution for all scenarios of local road construction, reconstruction, expansion, and routine maintenance, precisely addressing the shortcomings in urban road infrastructure and maintenance capabilities.
As an important port and transportation hub in Mozambique, Beira has long been plagued by problems such as aging and damaged roads, a shortage of construction equipment, and insufficient local asphalt production capacity.
With the official commissioning of the XCMG Asphalt Mixing Plant and the operation of the complete set of equipment, local municipal road construction will undergo a comprehensive upgrade towards standardization, large-scale operation, and green development. The traffic conditions of port freight channels and main urban roads will be significantly improved, and the carrying capacity of the urban road network will be significantly enhanced, not only benefiting people's travel but also injecting new momentum into the port's commercial development. Local government departments highly praised the cooperative achievements, commending XCMG equipment for its stable performance and strong adaptability, recognizing it as a key support for improving the quality and efficiency of local infrastructure construction.
This unveiling and delivery marks a significant milestone for XCMG in its commitment to the Mozambican market and its deepening cooperation with the government. XCMG will continue to work with its partners to improve its localized service system, deeply participate in road, municipal, and port construction projects throughout Mozambique, and continuously contribute "XCMG strength" to the high-quality development of regional infrastructure.
